Michelle Lapointe-Morris — The Glass Connector — Contemporary stained glass

I construct original designs using the Tiffany-style method by cutting and shaping each piece of glass by hand, wrapping it with copper foil then soldering all the pieces together.

I fell in love with creating stained glass 20 years ago when I took a class at the New Bedford Vocational Regional High School. My passion for creativity has broadened my life in a way I could have never imagined. Creating is now my way of life and my spirituality. It produces such a feeling of joy and fulfillment and a sense of connection to others. By displaying, selling and talking about my stained glass works, I can share these feelings and hope to inspire others to create. I consider myself to be a channel of inspiration and creativity. I also love collaborating with other artists to produce unique pieces of art.

My work is displayed at the Mosaic Gallery and the Tatlock Gallery both located in downtown New Bedford. I create my work in my inspiring studio overlooking the Acushnet River at 88 Hatch St., Studio 411, New Bedford, MA. I can be reached at 508-951-7416 or at info@glassconnector.com.
