My journey into the world of glass began in 2001, when I realized I had some extra time on my hands. My children had embarked on their own journey into adulthood, so now it was my time to play.

A vocational high school in the area offered an adult ed class in stained glass and this, caught my eye. This was something I had always wanted to try, but never had the time. So, I enrolled. This quickly became my passion. I made items both large and small for family and friends.

Three years ago, I was introduced to glass fusing. I was fascinated with the concept of melting glass, so I bought a kiln. This gave my journey a new road to explore, and this quickly became my new focus. I now create glass items that can be made into jewelry, functional items, or incorporated into my stained glass pieces.

I currently find myself in a constant state of growth and development. I learn new things every day and have no fear to try a new technique.
