Donald Krawczyk — Silk scarves, Furniture

Kiré which means beautiful in Japanese, is a line of silk scarves designed and made by Donald Krawczyk.

Kiré scarves are appliquéd using a fusing technique. Shapes cut from satin are permanently fixed onto a chiffon or crepe de chine blank. The patterned fabric is then sewn into a single layer scarf or lined with a contrasting color of silk.
